Juliette Crytes is a director and writer from Montreal, Canada. She studied at Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Film production where she wrote and directed two short films Adrift and It’s a Mind Game (Nominated for best student short film at RVCQ 2021). She also studied screenwriting at L’Université du Québec à Montréal. In the summer 2020 she landed her first production assistant job on Transformers 7 : Rise of the beast. She continued her rite of passage as a P.A on multiple productions ( Netflix’s series The Recruit, Scream 6, CTV’S Series Transplant). But it’s in winter 2023 when she’s injured on the set of Fox’s series that she decides to apply to the Director’s Guild of Canada’s Training program to be an Assistant Director. She used this obligated time to rest to write her first feature film ; Made of Stardust.
